Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum
The Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum is located on 40 acres of rolling farmland in Vista, California. Between Los Angeles and San Diego, this is some of the most expensive farmland on which we've ever set foot. The museum's impressive collection of gas and steam powered engines and tractors are all maintained in operating condition and demonstrated on a regular basis and in this 1-hour video. A blacksmith shop, a sawmill, threshing demonstrations along with an up-close look at a Bucyrus-Erie drag-line shovel add to the excitement of these beautifully restored machines in action and on parade. From the ingenious to the inane, including a "do-nothing machine," you'll see it all here.
