Big Sky, Full Steam - The Mehmke Farm Museum
Since the late 1800s the Mehmke clan has been farming Montana soil to help feed the world. Along the way, they've amassed an impressive collection of agricultural technology through the ages. From the mammoth Case 110 and matching Case 32 to the orphaned 1917 Square Turn and Flour City 40-70, the Mehmke Farm Museum in Great Falls, Montana is a treasure trove of rare and unusual examples of antique iron. In this 1-hour video we'll take four huge steam traction engines into the field for a day of plowing the way it used to be done. Then we'll fire up a few old gas tractors including a rare one-cylinder Hart-Parr. Afterwards, Carl himself guides us through the incredible Mehmke collection.
